The course begins with an overview of relevant rules, regulations, and standards, emphasizing the importance of grounding and its effects on the human body. Key topics include protective grounding practices, such as testing before grounding, mechanical connections, and resistance, along with grounding methods like bracket, source, and multi-point grounding. Participants will also learn how to establish an Equipotential Zone (EPZ) to protect workers from step and touch potentials and explore equipment grounding strategies.
